Glycolic Acid (AHA) Peels

Glycolic acid is derived from sugar cane and is a fantastic peel to remove the top layers of the skin and increase collagen production.

These peels can be tailored to suite most patients skin type ranging from 20%-70%. The skin will be smooth and rejuvenated after just the first session. A course of 6 is normally recommended for optimal results, and is suitable for all ages.

Salicylic Acid (BHA) Peels

Salicylic is one of the most effective ingredients to combat acne, blemishes and blackheads as it deeply penetrated the skin and removes congested sebum and dead skin cells. We recommend a series of 3-6 peels done weekly or fortnightly.

Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) peel

Do I follow an aftercare regime?

You should not use any glycolic acid products for approximately 24 hours following the treatment. You may use mild non-glycolic acid cleansers and moisturizers and should avoid sun exposure.

Patients should resume consistent use of their Bioglycolic homecare program after 48 hours, however you should treat the skin gently. Do not use any masks, abrasives or other supplemental resurfacing products.

Mild flaking or sloughing may be experienced the second or third day following an application. This is normal.
