Treatment of Minor Skin Irregularities

The Lamprobe combines radio and high frequency technology to produce heat through it’s various treatment probes. This technology attracts fluids; such as sebum, cholesterol and blood; drying them out to effectively reduce or remove the skin irregularity.

Treatments are very quick (some within a few seconds) and some may not even touch the skin’s surface. Small skin tags or blood spots disappear immediately and hyper-pigmented areas such as live or “aged” spots take only a few seconds.

There is minimal discomfort and healing time is short, from a day or two for skin tags to a few weeks for larger skin abnormalities such as fibromas, cholesterol deposits or milia.

Cryotherapy

Cryotherapy is designed for the treatment of skin injuries by destroying the function of the cellular tissues while keeping the fibrous structure intact. It is used to treat solar keratoses and other conditions such as skin tags, warts.

How does Cryotherapy work?

Nitrous oxide gas is applied directly to the skin’s surface and allowed to penetrate deep into the epidermal and dermal tissues.

The nitrous oxide ruptures the cells membrane thereby destroying the cellular function. In the treatment of hyper pigmentation, the color of the tissues will darken deeply since the ice has dehydrated the tissues.

Healing and regeneration takes approximately 3-4 weeks. Skin protrusions such as fibromas will fall off within 1 to 3 weeks.
