90 Minute Rapid Development

The key to an outstanding spray on tan result is correct skin preparation and after tan maintenance.

Before your spray on tan appointment

1. Any hair removal treatments such as shaving or waxing should be performed the day before your appointment.
2. Exfoliate your skin with Tuscan Tan Exfoliation Sugar Scrub. It is recommended that you do not use any other brand of exfoliant as many contain oils which may hinder the end result.
3. After exfoliating, wash using Tuscan Tan pH Balance Skin Wash to restore the pH balance of your skin to normal levels. This will ensure that the colour of your tan develops as it should.
4. After showering, it is recommended that you do not apply any products to your skin such as moisturiser, deodorant, perfume or make-up. Your skin must be clean and free of any product residue.
5. Bring with you to your appointment; a brief dark coloured bathing suit or underwear to wear during your appointment. Alternatively we do supple disposable underwear and hair nets.
6. Bring with you to your appointment loose clothing together with thongs to wear afterwards.

After your spray on tan appointment

Tuscan Tan original – 8 hour development

1. It is recommended that you do not shower, swim, do any physical activity that may cause perspiration, or apply products to your skin during the 8 hour development time.
2. Once your tan has developed you may shower, however it is recommended that you only use Tuscan Tan pH Balanced Skin Wash to cleanse your skin.
3. Do not use any other body wash product, soap or exfoliant as they may strip the tan.
4. After showering, pat your skin dry with your towel rather than rub so as not to prematurely fade the tan.
5. Once dry, it is recommended that your apply Tuscan Tan Tinted Tan Extender lotion daily to maintain your tan and extend its longevity.

Tuscan Tan Rapid-Amino 90 – 90 minute rapid development

1. It is recommended that you do not shower, swim, do any physical activity that may cause perspiration, or apply products to your skin during the 90 minute development time.
2. After the 90 minute development time you may shower, however it is most important that this first shower is quick. No more than 30 seconds. It is also recommended that you do not use any soap, body wash or exfoliating products during this first shower. Note: It is normal for some residual cosmetic bronzer to rinse off during the first shower leaving a slightly lighter tan when you get out, however than tan will continue to deepen in colour over the next few hours.
3. After showering, pat your skin dry with your towel rather than rub so as not to prematurely fade the tan.
4. Once dry, do not apply any moisturiser until the next day
5. The next day (day 2) you may resume showering as normal however it is recommended that you only use Tuscan Tan pH Balance Skin Wash to cleanse your skin. Do not use any other body wash product, soap or exfoliant as they may strip the tan.
6. Once dry, it is recommended that you apply Tuscan Tan Tinted Tan Extender lotion daily to maintain your tan extend its longevity.
