WHAT IS IT?
DMK Enzyme Therapy Treatments are a non-invasive, hydrolysing skin conditioning treatments, which remove dead skin cells from the surface of the skin without peeling the skin. Enzyme Therapy enhances your skin’s capacity to function optimally. Enzyme Masque #1, Enzyme Masque # 2 and Enzyme Masque #3 consist of a blend of transfer messenger enzymes. The enzyme formulations contain specialised ingredients that help increase circulation, improve lymphatic drainage, increase free water levels in the skin and enhance collagen production while strengthening and tightening the skin.
WHAT DOES IT ACHIEVE?
The DMK Enzyme Therapy Treatments are the rebuilding part of the DMK concept used to improve the health of the skin and treat poor skin functioning that contributes to wrinkles, fine lines, premature ageing, pigmentation, blackheads and breakouts. It is also effective in revising loose and sagging skin and aims to tighten skin tissue. HOW DOES IT FEEL?
The DMK Enzyme Therapy masque gets very tight and hardens on the skin. You may then experience pulsing, moving to a slight throbbing feeling. Some clients can also experience an itching sensation. These are all positive signs that the treatment is working to its potential.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
The skin will look plump, fresh and glowing, post treatment. You may experience some superficial flaky skin depending on the amount of dead cell accumulation and the pre- treatments performed before the Enzyme Therapy. WHAT TO REMEMBER
Whilst the DMK Enzyme Therapy Treatments are designed to restore health to the skin, topical chemistry cannot guarantee a perfect outcome every time and your DMK Skin Technician cannot provide a guaranteed timeframe in which to expect optimum results. Results will vary from person to person, as each individual skin type will respond differently. However, to maximise your opportunity to achieve the best possible results you must: » Adhere to your full DMK Home Prescriptive program throughout the program. » Do not sunbathe or use a solarium for 24 hours post treatment. If you do expose yourself to the sun, it’s imperative that you wear DMK Soleil Defence 50+. » Continue with regular DMK professional treatments and your DMK Home Prescriptive regime after the program has finished to prolong the benefits achieved.
NOTE: The results experienced by each individual will vary depending on their particular skin type and condition. While some will only require one treatment, others may require several treatments over a period of time to achieve their desired results. THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS? It is possible that you may experience some of the following temporary side effects as a result of this treatment: » Tightness or dryness of the skin. » An outbreak of pimples if impurities have been locked under the skin. » Redness and irritation of the skin. This may be relieved by applying Beta Gel. » Darkening of skin prior to exfoliation as underlying pigment moves to the surface. Although these side effects may be uncomfortable, they will subside as long as you follow any instructions you are given by your DMK Skin Technician.
